About
I am a food writer/editor based in Toronto, Ontario. Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, I developed a love of cooking at an early age and was lucky enough to land smack dab in the middle of Kensington Market (a neighbourhood full of open-air food shops and vendors from around the world) after moving to Toronto in the late 80s. I have a background in culinary arts (George Brown School of Hospitality) and ran my own catering and events company for many years along with my husband, Greg Clow. I am the editor and publisher of TasteTO, a website dedicated to the food scene in Toronto. I have also written for a variety of local food and drink publications.
I keep another blog called Leaves and Petals where I post my thoughts about various subjects in a (hopefully) witty and insightful manner. If I know you in real life, you’re also welcome to contact me on Facebook.
